Womens – The Legends Among us

As India is also an integral part of United Nations, it has been celebrating International Women’s day since 1975, when the first date was declared by UNO. But, we need to ask ourselves if we are celebrating this day without understanding the actual significance of it? If yes, let me bring in some facts which can signify this event in one’s life.

A humorous approach which most men’s carry is that, they are superior in all aspects of life than a woman. Are you one among them?  Are you still neglecting the fact that woman are equal to man? If your perception is still that way, then you are still in the dark. Come out of that gloom as I take you through top 3 legendary Indian personalities with their achievements. Note the fact that they are not men!

Kalpana Chawla :

The Legends Among Us    She was the first Indian lady to cross the sky. She achieved this milestone in the year 1997, as she stepped into the space. It was a moment of pride for her and Indians. As her career continued, she went into the space for one more mission of NASA in the year 2003 and while returning back she met a disaster as the space shuttle which was carrying her shattered  into pieces in Texas. Though she is not with us anymore, she will always be remembered for her talent and accomplishments.

Neerja Banot :

The Legends Among Us

To have courage for saving several lives only you need to be human, this is what was proved by Neerja Bhanot. September 5th 1986, the Pan Am 73 was hijacked, where she was the flight attendant. She showed her bravery by rescuing 39 American passengers, finally sacrificing her own life.

I want you to guess the final legendary which I want to highlight here in this post. Need some hints? I shall give it.

Successful Women are the Real Heroes

successful womens           There is always some valuable insight to behold from women’s success in today’s world. Of course, several traits are common among victorious people and same thing goes to any lady.

Not every women is the real hero, I would like to call out only the successful one. They never bear the thoughts like “I am not equal to men” or “I can’t do the things that they do”, etc. There are several strong reasons for being successful.Though females may or may not possess physical strength like a guy, but the brain capacity has nothing to do in executing things required for achievement.

One of my friends wanted to quit the corporate culture and began to run her cake store, as she was tired of the regular routine and decided to stop living only for the weekend. The ultimate objective for her is to gain sufficient time for herself and her family, which is possible only if she initiates something of her own. chef girl

Therefore, she started working on her own after quitting the job for six months and opened a shop. In just two years with her persistence work, the business grew to millions. Though everyone said she was crazy, she took chance on her dream and independent of good or bad judgment of others.

So what is the principle behind this? Those who believe in themselves, and go beyond the opinion of other are the true heroes. It is clear that every satisfied woman believes in herself with the right attitude.
